Our Rating System

To help everyone find the best solution for their specific support problem, all solutions can be rated by all members of the FixYa community using a simple, one click method, right on the thread page.

You can rate a solution with one of four votes:

• "FixYa!" -
  The solution provides great advice on how to solve the problem.
  
  
• "Helpful" -
  The solution provides helpful information that helps solve the problem.
  
  
• "Thanks for Trying" -
  The solution provides some help but does not solve the problem.
  
  
• "Inappropriate" -
  The solution has nothing to do with the problem.
  
  

Expert rankings are calculated using both the number of solutions he/she contributed and the quality of their answers. The Top Experts box on our Home Page features the five Experts who've contributed at least 80 solutions in the past 30 days and have the highest rank and rating score.

The More Experts page allows you to dig deeper into the list by sorting all Experts according to their rating.

We constantly monitor these ratings and correct any abuses found to assure that they are accurate and free of manipulation and bias.

Each Expert is ranked according to his solutions' average rating score and the number of solutions posted:
